George thought July 1 was going to be the day that changed his life, It just didn’t happen instantly – or quite the way he planned.
While a successful meeting with the bank to help finance his data analysis app Hazard Lights is cause for celebration.
“It’s going to be alright,” George assures Sarah, as he nervously takes her into an ER waiting room that looks more like wartime triage.
“George – do you think we’re going to die?” are the last words he remembers, before suddenly, unexpectedly, waking up back in their bed with the alarm clock reading 7am, July 1.
After Sarah offers him the same saucy trade-off for making the toast, George is increasingly distracted by an overwhelming feeling of déjà vu.
It leads to him blowing the pitch and pushing her away, especially when she implores him to stop obsessing about the “nightmare” he had.
It’s while at this low ebb that he meets Archie (Anjli Mohindra), who tries to convince George he should simply let Sarah go.
Revealing herself to be someone with answers to all his questions, she encourages George to seek her out when he experiences another “time jump”.
